Book & Bake Sale 2026

Come one come all to the annual Book & Bake Sale!

On Saturday June 13, 2026 from 10:00 am–3:00 pm we’re back at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Ave. for the same excellent selection, delicious treats, and good vibes for a good cause.

Looking for your next great read? We’ve got you covered. Novels, memoir, kids’ books, YA, sci-fi and fantasy, poetry, history, and more. Plus baked goods of all kinds. And, we’ll be joined by Women Helping Women Beadwork, who will be selling earrings and other handmade works by incarcerated Indigenous women.

All books and treats are pay-what-you-want. All proceeds go to supporting MLA Prison Libraries Committee and Bar None Prison Visiting Rideshare. Cash or e-transfer only, BYOBag. Beadwork will be priced individually with proceeds going to the creators.

We reserve the right to limit quantities. Booksellers seeking books for resale are welcome starting at 2:00 pm to purchase books by-the-box. See book sale volunteers for pricing.

First Mennonite Church is wheelchair accessible via a ramp. Please contact us with any other accessibility needs. Parking is available in the lot at the corner of Notre Dame Ave. and Alverstone St.

We ask attendees to wear masks to protect vulnerable community members. Masks will be available at the door.
